A Bodycare store in Skipton is set to close this week.
The closure is part of a wider round of closures announced by the health and beauty retailer’s administrators.
The chain, which entered administration on 5 September, has already closed 32 of its 147 shops.
Administrators confirmed that a further 30 stores will shut this week, including the Skipton branch in Craven Court resulting in more job losses.
The Skipton closure means local shoppers will no longer have access to the retailer, while staff face uncertainty following the announcement.
Across the UK, around 685 staff have lost their jobs since the company’s collapse.
The administrators, Interpath Advisory, stated that 14 shops will close on Tuesday and another 16 on Thursday. Skipton is included in the first group of closures.
A spokesperson for the administrators explained that ongoing costs and a shortage of stock had made it “no longer viable to continue to trade all 115 stores retained on appointment.”
The administrators are continuing to seek buyers for some of the remaining 85 stores and have reported interest from potential parties.
Bodycare, which was founded in Lancashire in 1970, is known for its warehouse-style layouts, bright lighting, and displays of health and household products.
