The incident is believed to have taken place near Cawder Lane in Skipton.
Police suspect the burglary took place overnight between 21st and 22nd December.
Officers investigating the burglary believe the suspects may have used the canal towpath to leave the area, travelling in the direction of Silsden or Keighley.
A number of items were reported stolen, including a BMW R1200GS motorcycle, three off-road trials motorcycles, a bicycle and several power tools.
North Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during that time, or who may have information about the stolen property, to get in touch.
