North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about a fraud that took place in Skipton.
Police are appealing for information about a fraud that occurred on Neville Street in Skipton at 9.30am on Wednesday (5 February 2025).
Two men in a white 10-reg Ford Connect van with ladders on the roof, offering various building maintenance services to homes.
At one home they offered a guttering cleaning service and agreed the price of £30.
The pair then drove off without any efforts to complete the agreed work.
As part of ongoing efforts to trace the suspects, Police are asking residents in the area to report similar incidents on Wednesday and to pass on any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that could help identify the men and vehicle involved.
