Briggate in Silsden will host its Christmas Market on Sunday 30th November from 10am to 4pm.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Silsden Gala Team and The Hive community team. A range of attractions is planned for the day, including a children’s station where youngsters can write letters to Santa and a toy stall offering festive treats. Bees Knees Pre-School will be providing hands-on fun for younger children. The Buzz Youth Club will also have its own stall. Traditional Christmas market features will be on offer throughout Briggate, including stalls selling gifts, crafts and seasonal goods, along with games such as Pull the Box and Lucky Dip. A small carousel will be available for younger visitors. Food and drink will be provided by local businesses including Olive & Green, Crumbs, Country Kitchen and Computer Universe, while Whitakers Hardware will offer an opportunity for visitors to make their own gifts. Those attending are also encouraged to visit Silsden Town Hall, where a range of additional Christmas stalls will be open. Organisers say they are looking forward to welcoming the community to celebrate the start of the festive season, encouraging people to wrap up warm and enjoy the activities planned across the day.
