Airedale Hospital and Community Charity held its second annual golf day at Branshaw Golf Club in Oakworth on Friday 5th September.
The event raised £4,344 to support projects across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The event was once again sponsored by Davric Construction Services and Service Electrical (Bradford).
Raffle prizes were donated by a range of local organisations, including Timothy Taylor’s Brewery, Worth Valley Railway, Ilkley Brewery, Junkyard Golf Leeds, Drake and Macefield butchers, and Branshaw Golf Club.
Teams of golfers took to the course throughout the day, with the trophy awarded to Marshall Electrical Limited.
Attendees also took part in a raffle and enjoyed the clubhouse facilities.
David Hamer, Director of Davric Construction Projects, said:
“I’m very pleased that the second golf day was even more successful than the first.
"The support on the day was fantastic and it was great to see some returning faces from last year’s event.
"Everyone’s generosity on the day has resulted in us raising a brilliant amount of money towards a local cause that we will all utilise at some point in our lives.”
Carla Weatherall, Charity Fundraiser for Airedale Hospital and Community Charity, added:
“Our second golf day was a resounding success. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the Branshaw team for their support on the day, we couldn’t have done it without your help and we’re already looking forward to returning to the beautiful course in 2026.
"Congratulations to our winning team, Team Marshalls from Marshall Electrical Limited. If you think you could beat them, get in touch to reserve a spot for next year’s event.”
The £4,344 raised will go towards supporting services and initiatives across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The charity funds projects such as specialist equipment, ward refurbishments, patient wellbeing schemes, and staff training opportunities that fall outside standard NHS budgets.
The charity’s upcoming events include a 12-hour CPR challenge and an anniversary ball.
