Young People's Reading Social

For ages 17-25, this event is a chance to network, meet other young creatives and have some fun celebrating the National Year of Reading. It's also a chance to learn more about the Youth Advisory​, a working group that provides young people with a voice at Craven Arts, deciding on what activity happens in the building for young creatives and developing the processes and people who run Craven Arts House.

6pm - 7pm: Check-in and Quiz

7pm - 7:30 pm: Youth Advisory Q&A

7:30pm - 9pm: Book discussion and Social

We'll start with a "check-in" where you'll be able to get to know each other followed by a quiz based on book trivia with prizes up for grabs. Afterwards, we'll move onto a Q&A with the members from Craven Arts' Youth Advisory, a working group that provides young people with a voice at Craven Arts. Finally, it's time to share you favourite book(s) in a discussion and social. This will be a relaxed, fun event and an opportunity to meet other young people and find out more about Craven Arts. This event is inspired by the National Year of Reading 2026
