Bus and train services in the Skipton and Craven area will, as usual, be amended over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
- Monday/Tuesday 22nd/23rd December – trains will run a normal weekday service, but buses run by Burnley Bus Company, Keighley Bus Company and Stagecoach will run a Saturday service.
North Yorkshire Council minibuses will generally run a normal weekday service except service 11 Horton – Settle – Clitheroe will run a special timetable and Skipton local minibuses 14, 16 & 78A will run a Saturday service. Lonsdale Buses will run an amended Saturday service (see below).
- Christmas Eve Wednesday 24th December – during the day, trains will run a normal weekday service, but buses run by Burnley Bus Company, Keighley Bus Company and Stagecoach will run a Saturday service.
Services will finish early - the last buses to Skipton will leave at: 1705 from Ilkley (64), 1709 from Clitheroe (280), 1730 from Settle (580), 1815 from Burnley (M6), 1830 from Grassington (72), 1855 from Keighley (66) and 1910 from Barnoldswick (M6).
The last trains to Skipton will leave Carlisle at 1824, Morecambe at 2012, Leeds at 2025 and Bradford Forster Square at 1941.
- Christmas Day - no buses or trains will run
- Boxing Day Friday 26th December - no buses or trains will run to/from Skipton.
- Saturday 27th December - buses and trains will run to normal Saturday times, except service 11 Horton – Settle – Clitheroe will run a special timetable.
- Sunday 28th December - buses and trains will run to normal Sunday times.
- Monday/Tuesday 29th/30th December - during the day trains will run a normal weekday service, but buses run by Burnley Bus Company, Keighley Bus Company and Stagecoach will run a Saturday service.
- New Year's Eve Wednesday 31st December – services will run as per Christmas Eve.
- New Year's Day Thursday 1st January 2026 - trains will generally run a normal weekday service with the first trains from Skipton at 0601 to Carlisle, 0604 to Bradford and 0640 to Leeds, but no buses will run.
- Friday 2nd January - buses and trains return to normal service, except buses run by Stagecoach including the 280 will run a Saturday timetable; service 11 Horton – Settle – Clitheroe will run a special timetable and Skipton local minibuses 14, 16 & 78A will run a Saturday service. Lonsdale Buses will run an amended Saturday service (see below).
- Saturday 3rd January - buses and trains will run to normal Saturday times, except service 11 Horton – Settle – Clitheroe will run a special timetable.
On the days when Lonsdale Buses operate an amended Saturday service, their buses will run a Saturday timetable, except that the following journeys will not run:
- Service 75 to Malham: All journeys
- Service 580: 0845 Settle to Skipton; 1745 Skipton to Settle
- Service 581: 0800 Kirkby Lonsdale to Settle; 1830 Settle to Kirkby Lonsdale
