A new local voucher platform launched by Your Media Group has generated tens of thousands of pounds for partner businesses in its first month.
Your Local Experiences officially launched on 2nd February, bringing together deals on activities, meals, spa days and other experiences from across the region - all in one place.
The platform allows users to browse and purchase vouchers for a range of experiences, from dining and afternoon tea to outdoor activities and spa days, with the aim of helping residents discover things to do closer to home while supporting local businesses.
Since launching, the platform has already generated tens of thousands of pounds in revenue for businesses that have partnered with the platform.
Launch partners include Rudding Park Hotel, Swinton Estate, Goldsborough Hall, The Coniston Hotel & Spa, Helijet Aviation and Hazel Bank Shooting Ground.
Your Local Experiences is part of Your Media Group, which also owns local radio stations Your Harrogate, Your Skipton and Your Ilkley.
Managing Director Ben Groom said the early success highlights the demand for local experiences and the opportunity for businesses to reach new customers.
He said:
“We’ve been really encouraged by the response since launching Your Local Experiences.
“In the first month alone, the platform has generated tens of thousands of pounds for the local businesses we’re working with, which is fantastic to see.
“Our aim is to showcase the brilliant experiences available on people’s doorsteps while helping local venues attract new visitors and boost trade, particularly during quieter periods.”
The platform continues to add new partners and experiences, with a range of offers including spa days, afternoon teas, activity days and family-friendly experiences available across the region.
