The Tenmours will join the concert by the Skipton Choir on Saturday 23rd November.
The concert will be held in aid of Martin House children's hospice.
The concert will feature The Tenmour’s debut choir score, 'We Are Listening'
The band and choir will join forces to showcase the song which earlier this year earned the activist group a place as UK national finalists at The European Music Contest in San Marino.
Choir chairman Carol Squire commented,
“We are thrilled to be joining forces The Tenmours as part of our concert programme.
They are known for forging their following through years of busking original music on UK streets and have now been featured on numerous BBC programmes. It’s a fitting way to celebrate five years since our formation under the leadership of our musical director David Weale-Davey.”
She added,
“As a community choir, we are particularly proud to use the power of music to support local charities and causes. This year we have chosen to support Martin House which provides a lifeline to so many families.
Their current project, THE BUILD, will transform the hospice so they can meet the ever changing and complex care needs of the children who need them.”
