A yellow weather warning for strong winds has been issued for the Skipton area from Monday morning.
The Met Office warning comes into place 6am on Monday [4th August] and lasts until 6am on Tuesday [5th August].
A spokesperson for The Met Office said:
"Storm Floris is likely to bring a spell of unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds to northern UK on Monday into early Tuesday.
"Heavy rain may also contribute to the disruption in places."
Winds of 60 to 70mph are expected and residents are being warned to expect some delays to road and rail transport, and disruption to flights is possible at Leeds Bradford Airport.
