The free community event celebrating sport, local organisations and family activities is set to return to Skipton later this summer.
Skipton Sport & Community Day will take place on Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Sandylands Sports Centre, running from 10am until 3pm.
The event will bring together sports clubs, community organisations and local groups for a day of activities and entertainment aimed at all ages.
Visitors will be able to take part in sports taster sessions and enjoy a range of family-friendly attractions throughout the day.
Food and drink will be available on site, and live music is also planned as part of the event programme.
Organisers say the event is designed to showcase the wide range of activities, clubs and community opportunities available in Skipton and the surrounding area, while encouraging residents to get involved in sport and local activities.
Skipton Sport & Community Day will be free to attend and is expected to take place across the grounds and facilities at Sandylands Sports Centre.
The event is being promoted as a chance for families to enjoy a day out, discover new activities and celebrate the strength of the local community.
