Skipton Musical Theatre Co. (SMTC), formerly 'Skipton Amateur Operatics and Dramatics Society', are celebrating 100 years in the town this year.
Their centenary production is Shrek the Musical, coming to Skipton Town Hall later this month.

based on the smash-hit DreamWorks film, Shrek The Musical is a laugh-out-loud adventure with Shrek, Donkey, and Princess Fiona, full of fairy-tale chaos, fire-breathing fun, and unexpected friendship. With songs like “I Know It’s Today,” “Freak Flag,” and “I’m a Believer,” this feel-good family musical is perfect for all ages.
