For the first time, Skipton BID is set to host an official launch event for the popular Business Awards returning later this year.
The Skipton BID team are excited to announce that they will host an official launch evening for the awards at Elsworth at the Mill from 5pm on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Local businesses are invited to attend the event to find out more about the Skipton Business Awards, whether they’d like to offer sponsorship, submit a nomination or just find out a few more details.
Sarah Howsen, Skipton BID Manager, said:
“We’re pleased to be hosting an official launch event for the awards for the first time ever.
“It’s the biggest business event in the Skipton calendar, so definitely deserves a suitable launch!
“If you’re looking to find out some more information on the awards, would like to offer your support or have any general queries this is your chance!”
Arrival drinks will be served on the night alongside canapes from award-winning local chef, Bruce Elsworth.
To book your place at the launch event, visit the BID’s Eventbrite page here.
Skipton BID is calling on local charities to get involved and partner with the Awards to attend onthe night to collect donations.
In previous years, Skipton Rotary Club and The Principle Trust have attended and collected hundreds of pounds in donations across the awards evening.
Nominations for this year’s Skipton Business Awards are set to open in June and will remain open until mid July.
The awards ceremony will then be held at Skipton Town Hall on Monday, October 5th where the winners in each category will be revealed.
Skipton BID is pleased to welcome Your Skipton as the official media sponsor for the awards.
Further details can also be found on the dedicated page on the Skipton BID website.
