Skipton Bakery launches affordable family craft club for summer holidays

A popular Skipton bakery is launching a new family activity aimed at keeping children entertained during the school summer holidays.

Kibble Bakery will host its first Family Craft Club on Thursday 6th August, giving youngsters the chance to create their own animal masks while parents relax with a coffee, lunch or cake.

The session will run from 10:30am to 11:15am at the bakery and has been designed to offer an affordable activity for local families.

Announcing the event, the team at Kibble Bakery said the idea was inspired by the challenges many parents face during the school holidays.

The bakery said:

"As a mum, I know how expensive the summer holidays can be and how hard it is to find activities that are affordable, relaxed and somewhere you actually want to spend a couple of hours including bringing the pup."

Following the craft session, families taking part will also receive 50% off a child's meal when purchased alongside a full-paying adult meal.

Places for the Family Craft Club are limited and must be booked in advance through Kibble Bakery's website.

The event is the latest addition to Skipton's programme of family-friendly activities taking place across the town during the summer holidays.
