Simple Minds bassist, Derek Forbes will be performing at the Sound Bar on 7th November as part of his 'A Very Simple Mind Tour'.
Following the recent release of his autobiography ‘A Very Simple Mind’, Derek Forbes is now on tour himself.
Simple Minds was a Scottish rock band predominately known for its main hit, 'Don't you' that was featured in the 80s hit film 'The Breakfast Club'.
His performance at the Sound bar on Keighley Road will be a two-hour event on Thursday 7th November which starts at 7:30pm which will feature:
- A talk focused on his life in music followed by a Q & A session where there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask Derek questions.
- A book signing with an opportunity for members of the audience to meet Derek
- A live performance by Derek of the songs he was involved in with Simple Minds
