Police have launched an appeal following a hit-and-run incident in Skipton.
It happened outside Swadford Tap on Swadford Street at 9:19pm on Saturday 3rd May.
It involved a silver two-door Volkswagen Polo which collided with a member of the public.
The pedestrian suffered a fractured upper jawbone. They were taken to hospital for assessment and treatment before being discharged the following day.
The driver of the silver Polo did not remain at the scene and has not yet reported their involvement to the police.
A police spokesperson said:
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, anyone with relevant dashcam footage, or anyone with information regarding the identity of the vehicle or the driver to contact us.
