A new award recognising Yorkshire's best pub has been introduced as part of the 2026 Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards.
The Best Yorkshire Pub category has been added to this year's awards, which celebrate food and drink producers, venues and businesses from across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Now established as one of the region's largest food and drink award programmes, the Taste Awards feature 24 categories covering everything from cheese, ice cream and pork pies to emerging businesses and hospitality.
Entries for this year's awards close on 31st July, before a panel of industry judges assesses submissions to decide the finalists.
The judging panel includes representatives from Bettys, Booths, Taylors of Harrogate and, for the first time this year, Fortnum & Mason.
The shortlist is due to be announced in September, with the winners revealed at an awards ceremony at Pavilions of Harrogate in November.
Entries are open to non DY members as well as DY members with more details at www.deliciouslyorkshire.co.uk/product-category/taste-awards/
