The owner of popular antique and collectibles shop 'Magpie' has announced she will be leaving next month.
Helen Peyton has owned the shop on Skipton's Albion Square for the last seven years.
She took on the shop after her friend passed away and continued her legacy.
Since then she has introduced workshops, galleries, Annie Sloan paint and much more.
Sharing the news via social media, Helen said:
"I thank you all for your patronage and support but it’s time to retire.
"I hope to see you all before I leave at the end of August"
Helen recently appeared on the first epsiode Your Skipton and Skipton BID's podcast, The Skipton Scene, where she shared how she came to own the shop and why she loves it:
Helen will officially retire at the end of August but will introduce new stock before her departure.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the shop will continue under new management.
