Skipton and Ripon MP, Sir Julian Smith, has shown his support for World Parkinson's Day on April 11, 2025.
This year’s theme, "Until we find a cure, there's Parkinson's UK," highlights the essential services provided by Parkinson's UK to those living with Parkinson's disease and their families.
Parkinson's UK offers online advice, research, specialist nurses, and a supportive community.
Julian is encouraging residents who are or know someone who is affected by Parkinson’s to visit their website or call their UK helpline to learn more about their services.
Commenting, Julian said,
“Parkinson's UK plays a crucial role in supporting those affected by Parkinson's disease.
"This World Parkinson's Day, I urge those who are affected, or know someone who someone who is affected, to learn more about the resources and support Parkinson's UK offer.
"Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with Parkinson's."
