The Glusburn Community & Arts Centre are asking for help to raise funds to keep their lights on.
For more than 130 years, the centre has been running theatre, music, crafts and community groups.
The centre has faced a major failure of their theatre lighting desk, which meant they had to urgently replace essential equipment to keep performances and events running at a completely unexpected cost of more than £4,000.
A spokesperson for the charity said:
"If you’ve ever enjoyed a show, attended a group, used the Centre, or simply believe spaces like this matter, please consider donating or sharing our Crowdfunder appeal"
