Skipton Live brings two days of live performances, original music and family-friendly entertainment to the town.
When is Skipton Live Festival?
Skipton Live Festival takes place on:
- Friday 28th August 2026
- Saturday 29th August 2026
Live music will run throughout the day and into the evening across multiple locations in the town over the Bank Holiday weekend.

What is Skipton Live?
Skipton Live is more than just a festival.
The organisation has been created to celebrate live music, creativity and community in Skipton, hosting events throughout the year as well as its flagship annual festival.
It also works alongside the Craven Academy of Modern Music to support musicians, performers and creative talent across the area.
What can visitors expect?
The festival will shine a spotlight on original music from local artists and bands.
Visitors can expect:
- Live music all day and into the evening
- Original performances from local musicians
- Food vendors
- Licensed bar
- A relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere
Whether you're discovering a new favourite band or simply enjoying the atmosphere, organisers hope there's something for everyone.
Who is organising the festival?
Skipton Live Festival has been developed in partnership with several local organisations, including:
- Craven Academy of Modern Music
- Skipton BID
- Craven Arts
- Skipton Town Council
The festival has also been designed as a community project, with opportunities for volunteers, performers and local businesses to get involved.
