Skipton buses will be unable to run to or from Ilkley on Sunday morning, 12th July, due to road closures for the Ilkley Half Marathon, so services will be diverted or truncated accordingly.
On Cravenlink service 864 the 0920 journey from Ilkley to Skipton will run normally, but the 0925 journey from Bradford to Skipton and Malham (usually due from Ilkley at 1020) will divert from Shipley non-stop to Skipton Bus Station. Menston, Burley in Wharfedale, Ilkley and Addingham will not be served on this journey.
Cravenlink service 873 will not serve Addingham and Ilkley until after 1230. The 1030 journey from Skipton will terminate at Bolton Bridge Devonshire Arms. The 1120 journey from Ilkley will start opposite Bolton Bridge Devonshire Arms at 1134.
The morning journeys on DalesBus services 874 to Buckden, 875 to Hawes and 876 to Hawes will all be diverted, and will not call at Menston, Burley in Wharfedale, Ilkley or Addingham. The afternoon journey at 1420 on DalesBus 874 from Ilkley to Grassington and Buckden will run normally.
Service 62 to/from Keighley will only run between Addingham, Moor Park Way and Keighley until around 1330 when the normal service will start. Service 862 will however run normally at 0835 from Keighley to Ilkley, arriving 0903.
After the Cravenlink 864 departure to Skipton at 0920 the next bus from Ilkley Bus Station is expected to be on service 864 to Skipton at 1340.
Roads on the Ilkley Half Marathon route are expected to close at 10am on Sunday, reopening as the last runner passes. Further information is available at https://ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk/road-closures/
