Skipton Town Council have announced the return of the Skipton Gala in June and are looking for their new King/Queen.
The town council took to Facebook to announce that the applications for the crown were open.
Selections will take place on Wednesday 19th March at Alexander's restaurant at 5pm.
Not only will the Queen/King be picked but applications for Attendants and Pageboys are open to join the Royal Gala party.
The Queen/King will be paraded through the procession at the Gala .
A spokesperson for Skipton Town Council said this via Facebook:
"This is a fantastic opportunity to represent Skipton, not just at our own gala but at other galas and public events throughout the year.
"Don’t miss this exciting opportunity—apply today and be part of something truly special!"
Deadline for applications close on Wednesday 5th March.
