The Met Office has issued a weather warning with Storm Amy set to hit the area this evening.
The yellow warning for wind is due to come into effect from 8pm on Sunday (14 September) and will be lifted at 6pm on Monday (15 September).
Winds of 45 to 55mph are expected and residents are being warned to expect some delays to road and rail transport, and disruption to flights is possible at Leeds Bradford Airport.
