Skipton Town Council is inviting local performers to take part in the Christmas Lights Switch-On event.
The switch on will be held on Sunday 30th November 2025 along Skipton High Street.
It will run from 10am to 5pm and is free to attend.
Alongside performances, there will be stalls, food and drink vendors, and a festive atmosphere leading up to the official Christmas lights switch on.
The Switch-On will be held in partnership with the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run.
Skipton Town Council took to Facebook to search for local performers for the event saying:
"Whether you're a singer, dancer, musician, theatre group, choir, or other performer – we’d love to hear from you!
"If you're interested in taking part or would like more information, please get in touch: eventsadmin@skiptontowncouncil.gov.uk.
"Let’s make this festive season magical together!"
Applications are open to community and charity groups, artisan traders, and food & drink vendors.
Organisers say Skipton High Street will be transformed into a festive gathering point for families and visitors, featuring live entertainment through the day.
