Airedale Hospital and Community Charity invite you to swap out your Festive jumpers for socks this year to spread festive cheer throughout the community on Friday 12 December.
The idea is simple, don your most outrageously festive socks and donate £1 to charity. Send in a photo of you and your friends in your socks to the charity and you could be crowned the official ‘Sock Stars of 2025’.
Carla Weatherall, Charity Fundraiser said:
“We want to make sure all our colleagues, visitors and patients across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust can join in with the festive fun.
"Whilst Christmas jumper day has become a staple in the festive calendar, a lot of our clinical colleagues are unable to join in.
“Swapping jumpers to socks ensures everyone can get involved on the day and wear their festive socks with pride. It’s a really simple idea that has grown over the years within the Airedale community.
"We had some fantastic ‘Sock Star’ entries last year including our Executive team so we can’t wait to see what you come up with for 2025.”
To make your donation, text 'Sock' to 70480 or visit www.airedalecharity.org/ways-to-donate/.
If you’re planning to take part, the charity wants to hear from you.
Email anhsft.charity@nhs.net or call 01535 294870 to let them know.
Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message, and you’ll be opting in to hearing more from Airedale Community Hospital. If you would like to donate but don’t wish to hear more from them, please text SOCKNOINFO instead.
