Specsavers to sponsor Skipton Gala for second year

The locally owned and run Specsavers store on Swadford Street on supporting the event.

On 13th June, from 11am until late, the free family fun event will welcome residents with a procession along Westmoreland Street, featuring floats, dance groups, and various local organisations, as they travel to Aireville Park where the festivities continue.

There will be live music by local artists, a funfair, food stalls, a face paint stand where children can become their favourite characters - and, of course, the crowning of the Gala Queen.

Adam Daniel, Managing Director at Your Skipton which are sponsoring this year's event says:
