Skipton Boat Trips were listed among the finalists for Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year in The Family Business Community Yorkshire and Humberside Awards
They have been a family run business for 35 years, now run by third generation owners James and Jen.
Attending the event the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, they said they were proud to still be a family run business.
The award was eventually won by Bridlington Animal Park, with other finalist including:
- Mallard Grange
- Pasture House Holiday Cottages
- Stump Cross Caverns

Skipton Boat Trips offer leisure canal cruises along the Leeds Liverpool Canal and are offering a package including christmas dinner over the festive period.
