Volunteer Police Cadets are being recruited in Skipton, with applications now open to young people aged between 13 and 18.
The programme offers participants the chance to take part in a wide range of activities, including drill, physical sessions and visits from specialist police teams such as the Dog Section and Crime Scene Investigation.
Sessions are designed to give cadets an insight into different aspects of policing, while also helping them to develop new skills and build confidence.
The scheme is open to young people from all backgrounds and aims to encourage teamwork, leadership and community involvement, as well as providing opportunities to meet others of a similar age.
Applications for the Skipton Volunteer Police Cadets close on 4th February.
Further details about the programme and how to apply are available through the application link provided by North Yorkshire Police here.
