Police appeal after tyres slashed on four cars in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police are investigating after the tyres of four vehicles were deliberately slashed in Skipton.

Police have launched an investigation after the tyres of four vehicles were deliberately slashed in Skipton.

The criminal damage is believed to have taken place overnight on St Stephens Close between 8pm on Saturday 19th September and 10.30am the following morning, when it was discovered.

North Yorkshire Police said four vehicles were targeted and officers are now appealing for information to help identify those responsible.

Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the Elliott Street or St Stephens Close area overnight between Saturday and Sunday and may have noticed suspicious activity or people acting unusually around parked vehicles.

Officers are also asking residents and motorists to check CCTV, doorbell cameras, dashcams and mobile phone footage which may have captured something relevant to the investigation.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12260184663.

Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
