New craft beer and tapas bar coming to Skipton

Baah and Tap owners Sarah Nash and James Ashton.

A new independent craft beer and tapas bar is set to open in Skipton.

Baah and Tap is being launched by Sarah Nash and James Ashton, the team behind The New Inn in Cononley, and is coming to Coach Street.

The pair said running the village pub had given them the opportunity to learn, experiment and discover what they enjoy most about the hospitality industry.

They said:

“For us, it’s always been about more than just what’s behind the bar.

“It’s the atmosphere. The people. A busy quiz night. A pint with someone you know. Trying a beer you’ve never heard of.

“Good food without any fuss, and creating somewhere people genuinely enjoy spending their time.”

The new venue will bring together 14 rotating craft beer lines and tapas - while establishing an identity of its own.

Sarah and James added:

“We’ve spent a long time talking about this, planning it and imagining what it could become.

“Now we finally get to create it.”

Further details, including the venue’s opening date, are expected to be announced in due course.
