Miniature food jewellery workshop coming to Skipton

Party Food Jewellery will host her first Skipton workshop at Craft Social.

A local artist is bringing her miniature food jewellery to Skipton with a workshop inspired by childhood parties and nostalgic treats.

Alice, who runs Party Food Jewellery, will host her first Skipton workshop at Craft Social next Saturday (26th September).

The session will give participants the chance to create their own miniature food jewellery using polymer clay, with designs inspired by familiar favourites including Party Rings, French Fancies, school sprinkle cake and fizzy sweets.

Alice said making miniatures has had a positive impact on her own mental health and she now wants to give people in Skipton the opportunity to try the craft for themselves.

She said:

“Making miniatures has done wonders for my mental health and I want to create a fun and unique experience so the people of Skipton can try something new!”

The workshop will have a party theme, complete with a school disco-inspired playlist and nostalgic treats from a local bakery.

Alice added that the aim is to give participants the chance to create something celebrating “the food that defined our childhoods”.

Party Food Jewellery specialises in handmade miniature food pieces created from polymer clay, turning recognisable sweet treats and dishes into wearable jewellery.

The workshop takes place at Craft Social on Saturday 26th September.
