Craven College is launching a new direct bus service connecting students in East Lancashire with its Aireville Campus in Skipton.
The daily term-time service, created in partnership with Transdev, will begin on Monday 7th September.
Around a quarter of Craven College students currently travel from East Lancashire, and the new service is designed to make commuting to college easier, more affordable and more accessible.
The bus will leave Nelson Bus Station at 7.30am, calling at stops between Colne, Earby and Barnoldswick before arriving at the Aireville Campus at around 8.30am.
The return journey will leave the college at 4.30pm and follow the same route back towards East Lancashire.
Ticket options will start from £3 for a single journey, payable directly to the driver.
Students will also be able to purchase termly bus passes from the Aireville Campus.
Craven College says the new route has been developed following conversations with students and their families, with transport identified as a potential barrier for those travelling from East Lancashire.

Gareth Dixon, Deputy Principal and CEO of Craven College, said the college had identified students from west of Skipton who were struggling with transport and, as a result, were sometimes unable to attend their course of choice.
He said the partnership with Transdev had helped create a route covering as many current and prospective students as possible.
Maria Jones, Head of Admissions, said discussions with applicants and parents had highlighted transport as a potential barrier for students travelling from East Lancashire.
David Wallington, Head of Commercial at Transdev, said the new service would provide students with a reliable and affordable alternative to private travel.
The first Craven College bus will leave Nelson Bus Station at 7.30am on Monday 7th September.
