The Principle Trust Children’s Charity has announced the appointment of Tom Cockerham as a Patron.
His appointment will help to support the charity’s mission of providing free respite breaks to children and families facing some of life’s toughest experiences.
Tom is the founder of TAC Electrical, with over a decade of electrical installation experience in the Ilkley, Skipton, and Harrogate areas, offering a wide range of electrical services, from minor domestic repairs to extensive commercial projects.
The firm is planning to expand this year, leading to new senior leadership appointments.
As Patron, Tom hopes to use his position to help raise the profile of The Principle Trust and encourage others in the business community to get involved, connecting The Principle Trust with other organisations and individuals who can make a difference.
Tom Cockerhan, Founder of TAC Electrical, said:
“Supporting The Principle Trust is important to me personally because I believe in giving back to the community, especially to those facing real challenges.
"I hope my role as Patron will help raise awareness and provide tangible support to families who need it most.”
Kerry Magson, Partnerships and Engagement Manager at The Principle Trust Children’s Charity, also added:
“We’re proud to welcome Tom to The Principle Trust Children’s Charity and feel honoured to have his support.
"We work collaboratively with our patrons in order to achieve the greatest impact possible for the vulnerable children we support.
"Tom’s partisanship will contribute to our respite breaks, which are proven to help improve mental health and wellbeing, aid recuperation and help families in difficulty have a more positive outlook.”
