Carleton Gala has announced the event will be postponed due to poor weather.
The event was set to take place this Saturday on the recreation ground, with the procession leaving from The Swan Inn.
Organisers have shared that the event will be postponed until Saturday 5th September.
They said:
"Rather than a significantly scaled-down indoor event, we want to give the gala the day it deserves.
"Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
"We can't wait to see you in September".
They have asked those who have plants for the plant stalls to bring them to Carleton in Bloom's Open Day on Sunday 14th June and to drop them off at the Village Hall by 2 pm.
