Scientists who changed the world

Italy has produced a vast number of scientists who have impacted the world either directly through their scientific discoveries or by way of societal changes guided by their scientific training. Tony Magee's talk for Skipton's Italian Circle will discuss just a few of these whose lives were interesting not just because of their science but also because of their the wider impact. Talk begins at 8 pm, refreshments available from 7.30 with the opportunity to talk to members of the Italian Circle. Admission £5 to non-members (free to members). All welcome!
