Following a highly successful autumn season, Pinsuti Chamber Choir returns with Shadows of Mercy, a programme bringing together some of the most powerful and enduring works in the choral repertoire. From Allegri’s ethereal Miserere and Guerrero’s impassioned Lamentations — Renaissance masterpieces of striking intensity — to modern classics by Whitacre, Lauridsen, and Barber, the concert explores music shaped by darkness, stillness, and grief, while listening for mercy that is sought, remembered, or quietly awaited. Becky McGlade’s The Oak and Barber’s Agnus Dei complete an evening of choral music that will linger in the mind, performed with the precision and expressive commitment that define Pinsuti’s performances.
