Drummer and composer, Ollie Grant blends his love of early 2000s London Jazz with his knack for sculpting and shaping songs which is complemented by Dave Colebourn (Sax) and Zach Bartlett (Bass) who also share in Pop sensibilities. The trio crafts a unique sonic experience, defined by their emotive, intentional playing; crossing genres of psychedelic, post-rock and modal jazz.
For over three years, Fantastic Stranger developed their sound in prestigious venues across Bristol, including The Gallimaufry, The Croft (formerly Crofters Rights) and Bristol Beacon. Their biggest accolades to date have been sharing the bill with Mercury Prize winners Corto Alto and opening for 137, a band consisting of heavyweights in their field (Adrian Utley, Jim Barr, Larry Stabbins and Sebastian Rochford)
