North Yorkshire Council shared the news yesterday.
Due to resurfacing work, Skipton Household Waste Recycling Centre will be closed from Monday 9th March to Wednesday 11th March, and from Wednesday 18 March to Saturday 21 March.
The centre will have a restricted service from Thursday, 12 March to Tuesday, 17th March.
During this time, it will only accept general rubbish, waste upholstered seating such as sofas and armchairs, and wood.
It will fully reopen on Sunday, 22 March.
The nearest alternative sites are West Harrogate and Settle
