Ensemble Renard, who were due to play this date, have had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. However, Skipton Music have managed to secure another wind ensemble, the magnificent Lumas Winds, to perform in their place.

Winners of the 2023 Royal Over-Seas League Mixed Ensemble Prize, the vibrant London-based wind quintet are ardent advocates for wind chamber music and a diverse repertoire. Their debut album, The Naming of Birds (2024), showcases British quintet works across decades and includes world-premiere recordings. They are featured on the Countess of Munster and Kirckman Concerts Young Artists’ Programmes and perform widely at festivals and venues across the UK.
