St Margaret’s organ recital on Friday lunchtime alternates music by Bach (two sequences of chorale preludes for Passiontide and Easter and for Christmas and New Year) with three late pieces by Herbert Howells written for various occasions in his later years (1942 – 74).
Free entry with retiring collection for St Margret’s Music Fund.
